Ingredients to use:
1 Bourbon Bourbon
1 Ice Ice
1 Mint Mint
1 Sugar Sugar
Directions:
This recipe for the famous drink of the Old South is a classic. First, you should use a silver goblet, but a small glass will do. You must use an excellent bourbon whiskey--no cheap substitutes. Fill with a half inch of sugar and dampen with water. Powder the ice with a mallet--so quickly that it remains dry, and pack the glass by hand. Be sure to slip in two sprigs of mint against the side of the glass. Then fill with bourbon, and sprinkle powdered nutmeg on the top. Then relax on your veranda with your frosted goblet.
