No Brandy on a Mai Thai
It's supose to be Triple Sec, Cointreau or Grand Marnier not Brandy.

A mai tai,not thai has aged rum 16 year old originally fresh lime juice , orange curacao,and orgeat. thats it!! then garnish ,,there is nothing red in a mai tai!!,IT IS NOT A RED DRINK!!
