Jack And Jill drink recipe

Add ice to a pint glass, preferably a Guinness glass, and add the ounce (or more) of Jack Daniels old no 7. Next, pour in half of the can of Ginger Ale, and swirl the glass around to mix. Add a dash or two of lime juice, and the remainder of the Ginger Ale.

If you've done it right, the Ginger Ale should foam and resemble the head from beer. Finally, pour a dash of grenadine into the glass; it will sink to the bottom, but there will be a dot of red in the foam left by the Ginger Ale. Garnish with a slice of lime if you so desire.

The name comes from the Jack Daniels and Ginger Ale…It was going to be called ‘Jack and Gin’, but adding the lime turned it into ‘Jack and Gil’, or ‘Jack and Jill’.
