| Directions: | Put a splash of water in a rocks glass with the sugar and mint. Use a spoon or a pesel to crush sugar and mint into club soda. Add remaining club soda and rum. Add a lemon slice and the remaining mint, and serve. This is the national drink of Cuba, it is very light and quite refreshing. |

Mint Leaves
a good drink doesnt have mint leaves in it. whole leaves dont give off as much flavour either so i crush them in the soda and sieve out the mint. saves the green bits in your teeth with a much more minty drink

Mojito
The directions make no sense whatsoever. When it says "a splash of water" does it mean club soda? Otherwise, why would it say "remaining club soda" as though a prescribed amount of club soda had already been mentioned? Lastly, how exactly do you crush sugar and mint into club soda? It's nice to know how to make these drinks, but for a site like this, knowing how to communicate the method is essential.
